Maps & Boss Timers
Two versions live here. The original game unlocks 12 zones in a chain — verified against the live game. The community rebuild ships 16 battlegrounds with open-source values — every one gets a full page below.

The original game: 12 zones in an unlock chain
Verified on v0.123.0 (October 26, 2026) by reading the live zone panel and the game’s own build data: the chain counts 12 zones — the class panel reads “Zones open: 1 of 12”. Two zones joined recently (Un’Goro Crater between Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin, and Naxxramas at the very end of the chain); Scarlet Monastery itself only arrived in an earlier October build. You defeat one zone’s final boss to open the next; the starter zone’s clock runs 3:00 Hogger, 6:00 Mother Fang, 9:00 Rhahk’Zor, 12:00 Mr. Smite — final Edwin VanCleef 16:00.

Order, unlock conditions and final bosses verified against v0.123.0 (October 28, 2026): the 12-zone order re-checked in the official build’s serialized zone table and its English locale — both list the same twelve zones in the same order, elwynn through naxx — plus the live main-menu ZONES panel; the row-by-row Drop Tables sidebar read dates to v0.120.4 (October 27). Earlier verification (v0.119.0): rows 1–10 off the zone panel, rows 11–12 against the game’s build data, whose serialized zone table and AV/BRM/Naxx boss lineups match. Rows 11–12’s unlock conditions are written per the chain rule every verified row follows (defeat the previous zone’s final boss), not read off the panel directly. Boss clocks are verified zone-by-zone; Elwynn’s is done, and in-game clock checks across the seven dedicated pages are the main open item.
How the two lists map to each other: 5 of these zones share a name with a community rebuild battleground (Elwynn Forest, Duskwood, Gurubashi Arena, Gates of Ahn’Qiraj, Naxxramas) — the linked pages carry rebuild values, and the original’s clocks differ. The other 7 original zones (Warsong Gulch, Un’Goro Crater, Arathi Basin, Feralas, Scarlet Monastery, Alterac Valley, Blackrock Mountain) each have their own original-zone page, built from this verified table. Conversely, 11 of the 16 rebuild battlegrounds below (The Barrens, The Dark Portal, Fire Plume Ridge, Durotar, Teldrassil, Dun Morogh, Mulgore, Tirisfal Glades, Westfall, Redridge Mountains, Mount Hyjal) are rebuild-only — they aren’t part of the original game’s chain and are kept as rebuild reference.
Two versions, two clocks. The 16 battlegrounds below are the community rebuild’s rotation (azeroth-survivors-re): a boss every 2:15 — six per 15:00 run. The original game (wow.aethus.pl) unlocks 12 zones in the chain table above and runs its own clock (Elwynn: 3:00 Hogger, 6:00 Mother Fang, 9:00 Rhahk’Zor, 12:00 Mr. Smite — final Edwin VanCleef 16:00, re-verified on v0.123.0). Every page and table on this site is labeled with the version it describes.

The boss clock — how a run unfolds
Every zone in the community rebuild follows the same rhythm (per data extracted from the open-source build):
| Time | Event |
|---|---|
| 0:00 | Run starts — 14 mobs on the field, first pack in reach |
| 2:15 | Boss 1 spawns (every zone’s six bosses follow this schedule) |
| 4:30 | Boss 2 — mob density climbing toward 73 alive |
| 6:45 | Boss 3 — mid-run checkpoint; your core build should be online |
| 9:00 | Boss 4 — elite pressure rises |
| 11:15 | Boss 5 — enemy HP now scaling toward the 1.75× ceiling |
| 13:30 | Boss 6 — last boss before victory |
| 15:00 | Victory — 15:00 survived |
Enemy count grows from 14 to 220 alive; health and damage scale up to 1.75× / 1.9×. Between bosses, treasure caches and elites drop in-run trinkets (original game).
