Checked against v0.123.0Updated October 2026
Version: values below are from the community rebuild (azeroth-survivors-re @ pinned commit). The original game unlocks Elwynn Forest → Duskwood → Warsong Gulch → Un’Goro Crater → Arathi Basin → Feralas → Gurubashi Arena → Scarlet Monastery → Alterac Valley → Blackrock Mountain → Gates of Ahn’Qiraj → Naxxramas — a 12-zone chain verified on v0.123.0 — with its own boss clocks — see the maps hub for the verified original chain. The original game’s Gurubashi Arena (The Blood God Wakes) opens by defeating King Gordok in Feralas; Hakkar the Soulflayer waits at the end. The rebuild schedule below is its own take.
Boss schedule & stats
Rebuild clock: one boss every 2:15 — six per 15-minute run. Bosses resist crowd control (stuns and roots at 30% duration, slows capped), so plan DPS windows, not lockups.
| Timer | Boss | Level | HP | Damage | XP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2:15 | King Bangalash | 43 | — | — | — |
| 4:30 | Mokk the Savage | 44 | — | — | — |
| 6:45 | Bloodlord Mandokir | 63 | — | — | — |
| 9:00 | High Priest Thekal | 63 | — | — | — |
| 11:15 | Jin'do the Hexxer | 63 | — | — | — |
| 13:30 · last | Hakkar | 63 | — | — | — |
A dash means the open-source build doesn’t ship the value for that entry. In the original game, bosses also drop permanent class gear (60% per piece) — that system is not part of the community rebuild.

Running Gurubashi Arena
- Open thin, kill fast. The run starts with 14 mobs alive and scales toward 220 — clearing early packs keeps the level-up engine (and its card offers) running.
- Boss = movement check. Bosses arrive every 2:15 on the rebuild clock, on top of the wave; start the fight with an escape cooldown ready (30 yd leash means you can’t kite forever — the arena is the map).
- Watch the clock, not the horde. You don’t need to kill everything — 15:00 survived wins. If the field turns unplayable, run open lanes and let the timer work.
- Difficulty scaling. By 13:30 enemies hit for up to 1.9× their base and HP reaches 1.75× — late bosses are stat checks for your build, so spend early ranks on your main carry.
