Game Updates & Version Tracking
Azeroth Survivors is an actively updated fan game — new systems have landed weekly during October. This page tracks the current version and what changed, so you never waste a run on stale advice.
Current: v0.123.0 Last checked: October 28, 2026 Daily automated check
Checked against v0.123.0Updated October 28, 2026
How tracking works: a daily automated check watches the official game site (version signals, embed policy) and the open-source community rebuild repository. When the version changes, this page updates and the affected guides get re-checked. Only verified changes are listed — no rumors.
Verified on v0.123.0 (October 28, 2026 — live UI read + build strings)
Re-verified against the running game (wow.aethus.pl) on October 28, 2026, after the daily check caught two more overnight asset-signature changes:
- Current version: v0.123.0 (menu footer, build 425f2391), up from v0.120.4 verified on October 27 — 0.120.5-era builds were already visible in the wild on the 27th, so the developer shipped several more builds inside another day.
- New: Heroic difficulty tiers, gear stars and marks. The main menu now carries a difficulty selector (Normal by default), and zones get Heroic levels I–V: per the build’s own strings, Heroic “makes {zone} harder for more marks, boss loot and talent experience”, and beating a Heroic tier “opens the next level for every class”. Marks are the new currency these runs pay out (lifetime tallies now track 100 / 1,000 / 10,000), and gear now upgrades in stars (0–5) with set bonuses keyed to star levels — the achievement list tracks the whole ladder. Co-op lobbies filter by zone and difficulty (“Everyone who joins needs this zone and difficulty open with their class”). We have not yet run a Heroic game ourselves, so no strategy advice yet — deeper coverage lands as it is checked.
- Achievements: now 124 in seven families. The live screen reads 0/124: Zones 24 · Classes 20 · Collection 14 · Feats 26 · Lifetime 15 · Co-op 16 · Heroic 9 (v0.120.4 was 98 in six). The new Heroic family spans the difficulty climb and the star ladder: Heroic Debut (Heroic I anywhere) and Heroic Resolve (Heroic III anywhere), Heroic Across Azeroth (Heroic III in every zone), Champion of Naxxramas (Heroic V in Naxxramas — opens the Crusader weapon glow), Beyond the Vault / Five Stars (4- and 5-star gear), Empowered and Radiant Armory (8-piece set bonuses at 5 stars, the latter with every class — opens the Fiery Weapon glow), and Unpolished (Heroic II+ with no gear above 0 stars). Beyond the new family, several existing achievements moved: the co-op list grew from fourteen to sixteen (Matching Outfits and Raid Night are the two new entries — Raid Night wants Heroic III or harder in a full party of five — while Against All Odds and The Old Gods Have No Friends now demand Heroic III or harder, replacing the old four-enemy-modifier wording), a second Overtime joined the first (endless bosses alongside the 25:00 clock), boss-kill challenges added Sapphiron, King Mosh and Nefarian’s pet variants, and the Collection family doubled with the star/set achievements. The full re-checked lists are on the achievements & rewards page.
- Re-checked, all unchanged: the 12-zone unlock chain (the v0.123.0 build’s serialized zone table and its English locale still list the same twelve zones in the same order — Blackrock Mountain, Gates of Ahn’Qiraj and Naxxramas still close the chain), the Elwynn boss clock (3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 / 12:00, final Edwin VanCleef 16:00), the 0/54 gear collection counter, the 0/51 talent ledger, Warrior base health 230 starting with Cleave, the nine classes, the 14-language UI (fourteen locale files in the build), the co-op skeleton (lobby browser, host, join by code, Max players 5 — build strings), the same 13 perks at the same point prices on the Rewards tab (Second Thoughts 15 · Banish 20 · Opening Hand 30 …), and still no code-redemption UI anywhere.
- Community rebuild data unchanged. The rebuild repository moved (commit eb9bbe31 → 72048f40), but its game-data files are identical for every value we cite — the changes are rendering and performance work. Our maps, class and item tables keep their current numbers.
- Changelog: still no independent patch-notes page. The developer announces updates on the official Discord and ships them to the live game; what changed between v0.120.4 and v0.123.0 beyond the above is not yet itemized, and deeper Heroic/drop-table diffs land here as they’re checked.
Verified on v0.120.4 (October 27, 2026 — live UI read + build strings)
Re-verified against the running game (wow.aethus.pl) on October 27, 2026, after the daily check caught another asset change overnight:
- Current version: v0.120.4 (menu footer, build 93ecb257), up from v0.119.0 verified on October 26 — the daily check logged two asset-signature changes in between (the developer shipped at least twice), and the version moved four numbers (0.120.0–0.120.4) inside one day.
- Everything this site asserts re-checked, all unchanged: the 12-zone unlock chain (re-read row-by-row off the live Drop Tables sidebar: Elwynn Forest → Duskwood → Warsong Gulch → Un’Goro Crater → Arathi Basin → Feralas → Gurubashi Arena → Scarlet Monastery → Alterac Valley → Blackrock Mountain → Gates of Ahn’Qiraj → Naxxramas), the Elwynn boss clock (3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 / 12:00, final Edwin VanCleef 16:00), the 0/54 gear collection counter, the 0/51 talent ledger, Warrior base health 230 starting with Cleave, the 14-language menu, and no code-redemption UI anywhere.
- “Talents” is still the game’s word. Some community sites retitled their talent pages to “passives” this week; the game itself doesn’t — the menu tab, the “Talent Points” panel and the build’s own strings all still say Talents (“passives” only names race passives). We keep the game’s terminology.
- Co-op re-checked live: the lobby browser was up with real parties (4/5 and 3/5) running Elwynn Forest, Duskwood and Un’Goro Crater, and the Host panel still caps Max players at 5 (1–5 selector, 5 default).
- Achievements & rewards re-checked: the summary still counts 98 achievements in six families (Zones 24 · Classes 20 · Collection 7 · Feats 21 · Lifetime 12 · Co-op 14), and the build’s string table still lists the same 13 perks (Second Thoughts, Banish, Skip, Opening Hand, Veteran’s Lessons, Keen Eye, and the seven companion perks).
- Changelog: still no independent patch-notes page. The developer announces updates on the official Discord and ships them to the live game, but publishes no standalone patch-notes page — and we have not yet diffed the Discord announcements against this build. What changed between v0.119.0 and v0.120.4 is therefore not yet itemized; deeper Armory/drop-table diffs land here as they’re checked.
Verified on v0.119.0 (October 26, 2026 — live UI read)
The version below was read straight off the running game’s main menu (wow.aethus.pl) on October 26, 2026 — same review standard as every claim on this page:
- Current version: v0.119.0 (menu footer, build 77b20bb3), up from v0.115.0 verified on October 25 — our daily check caught one asset change in between, and the game moved several version numbers in a single day.
- Two new zones joined the unlock chain — it now counts 12. The class panel reads “Zones open: 1 of 12” (nine on the v0.91.2 review, ten with Scarlet Monastery on v0.115.0). New on the panel: Un’Goro Crater — The Primal Hunt, sitting between Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin (its intro names King Mosh as the boss coming to the kill), and Naxxramas — The Scourge Invasion as the chain’s new final zone, after Gates of Ahn’Qiraj (its intro names Kel’Thuzad). Scarlet Monastery is no longer the newest zone.
- The language menu now lists 14 languages (English, Polski, Čeština, Deutsch, Português, Español, Français, Română, Türkçe, Русский, Українська, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어) — up from the ten verified on v0.91.2.
- Re-checked on v0.119.0, all unchanged: the 0/54 gear collection counter, the 0/51 talent ledger, Warrior base health 230 starting with Cleave, the Elwynn boss clock (3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 / 12:00, final Edwin VanCleef 16:00), and no code-redemption UI anywhere in the menu. The co-op lobby browser was live with active parties (4/5) running Un’Goro Crater, Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch.
- Changelog: no independent patch-notes page. The developer announces updates on the official Discord and ships them to the live game, but publishes no standalone patch-notes page — and we have not yet diffed the Discord announcements against this build. What else changed between v0.115.0 and v0.119.0 is therefore not yet re-verified; deeper Armory/drop-table diffs land here as they’re checked.
Still pending re-verification on v0.119.0: the new zones’ boss clocks and gear tiers, per-class base health, and drop-table changes. (The full chain order is build-verified — see the maps hub for the 12-zone table.)
Zone-chain source note: rows 1–10 were read off the live zone panel; the complete order (Blackrock Mountain → Gates of Ahn’Qiraj → Naxxramas at the end) is confirmed by the game’s build data.
Carried over from the v0.91.2 review (verified October 15–19, 2026)
Everything below was verified against the live original game on v0.91.2 — the same review that produced our items and talents guides. Re-verified on v0.119.0 and v0.120.4 where the entries above say so:
- 14-language in-game UI. The game ships localized UI — zones, cards and menus in fourteen languages (fourteen locale files in the v0.123.0 build; menu list last read on v0.120.4; ten on the v0.91.2 review).
- Armory: 54 gear pieces per class. The collection counter reads 54 per class on current builds (the 45-piece nine-slot structure was the v0.91.2-era reading); permanent, dropped by bosses on independent 60% rolls. Full breakdown in the items guide.
- Codex: 140 in-run trinkets. Rings, trinkets and amulets collected during runs, plus per-class legendary amulets (one per spell).
- Talents: 51 points across three trees. Every run pays talent XP; milestones at 10/20/30 per tree. Details in the talents guide.
- 124 achievements in seven families → perks, companions, tabards. Achievement points buy account-wide perks (rerolls, banishes, drop-rate) and cosmetics in the Rewards tab. A nine-entry Heroic family joined the list on v0.123.0, alongside gear stars and marks.
- Zone unlock chain (12 zones). Elwynn Forest → Duskwood → Warsong Gulch → Un’Goro Crater → Arathi Basin → Feralas → Gurubashi Arena → Scarlet Monastery → Alterac Valley → Blackrock Mountain → Gates of Ahn’Qiraj → Naxxramas. Un’Goro and Naxxramas joined after the v0.91.2 review counted nine; Naxxramas is the chain’s final zone (re-verified on v0.123.0).
- Original Elwynn boss clock. 3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 / 12:00, final boss 16:00 — a different schedule than the community rebuild’s 2:15 cadence (re-verified on v0.123.0).
Earlier versions
Community references to v0.90.x builds exist from early October 2026 (the Elwynn boss clock above was already present). We have not independently diffed those builds against v0.123.0, so we won’t invent a changelog — when a new version lands, the diff gets verified in-game first, then listed here.
What we watch daily
- Official site version signals — a change means new game content; guides get re-checked against the live game.
- Embed policy — the game enforces playing on its own site (its boot script refuses to run framed), so play links here go straight to wow.aethus.pl. The daily monitor flags any change to that policy.
- Community rebuild commits — data changes flow into our class and map value tables with a version label.
- Competitor sitemaps — for coverage gaps, not for content.
