Azeroth Survivors Co-op
Yes, it's multiplayer: pick Co-op on the main menu ("Play with friends") and run zones with a party of up to 5. Public lobby browser, join by code, password rooms — free, like everything else in the game. Everything below was verified on the live game (v0.123.0, October 28, 2026; first documented on v0.119.0).

How to start a co-op run
1 · Open Co-op
On the main menu, pick the Co-op button ("Play with friends") — next to the big zone button, bottom right. Three tabs open: Lobbies / Host / Join by code.
2 · Host or join
Host creates a room (optionally with a password). Lobbies browses public rooms with filters for unlocked zones, no-password rooms and zone. Join by code takes a friend's room code directly.
3 · Enter the zone together
Close the lobby window and enter the zone — everyone in the party comes along. The public list only shows rooms running your game version, so nobody gets version-mismatched.
The co-op rules, verified on v0.123.0
- Party size: up to 5. Each lobby shows its fill (the live browser showed parties at 4/5) — the counter is the cap.
- Downed players come back. Downed players come back when a teammate stands next to them ("{name} is down! Stand next to them to bring them back."). No revive item needed — positioning is the mechanic.
- Zone unlocks are per class, on your account. A lobby for a zone your current class has not unlocked is flagged in red ("You haven't unlocked Un'Goro Crater with this class yet."), and the Unlocked zones filter hides those rooms.
- Rooms can be password-protected. Public browsing defaults include a No password filter; private groups just share the password plus the room code.
- Lobbies are version-matched. The browser header reads "Public lobbies of this version" — rooms for older builds don't mix in.
- Co-op has its own achievements. Examples verified in the achievement list: complete Un'Goro Crater in co-op with 5 Hunters; defeat Edwin VanCleef with 5 players all using different classes; complete any zone with all 5 players on the same class.
- Solo is unchanged. The normal Enter button still runs the zone alone — co-op is an opt-in second path, not a replacement.
Not yet verified and therefore not described here: how gear drops split in a party, and cross-platform play between the browser and the Windows build. This page is updated as those get tested.
